Kundalini Yoga Class
"Hi, I'm Hannah. My Kundalini yoga classes are an hour-long gift of self-care to mentally and physically feel transformed and revitalised. It is a great combination of the spiritual and meditative, and a physical work out!
My teaching combines my passion for helping people connect to their own body’s needs with an abundance of kindness and gentleness. Know your own body, then radically love it! I recognise that by cultivating every individual’s intuitive and deep connection to the self, and by landing into the body, we really can begin to still the mind.
We shall work on Movement and Breath in my dynamic yoga class that incorporates powerful posture, breath and meditation techniques. We will hold postures for up to 3 minutes, building strength and resilience at times, and at others, brings exquisite stillness. Every class will be different according to the intention set for each class.
The class is aimed at a medium level of difficulty."
What you need for the class:
- Yoga mat
- Cushion (1 or 2)
- Blanket for the final relaxation
- Sturdy chair if unable to sit on the floor or sitting at the edge of the sofa can also work
- Tissues are handy for when we do rapid breathing, may need to clear the sinuses!
- 2 Yoga brick sized blocks. If unavailable, two same size dictionaries (thick hard back books) can be used, however we won’t need this every class.
