Mindful Flow Yoga

Enjoy a short meditation and then move into a sequence of postures and poses designed to gently lengthen muscles, ease tension and connect body and breath in harmonious flow. Set at a moderate level but modifications will be provided throughout so that you can adjust to your own specific needs.

This mindful yoga flow class steadily builds its pace over the course of the practice. After a short meditation, you will be moving into a sequence of standing postures and lunge poses, emphasising spinal twists and hip openers.

This is a warming practice great for purification and developing strength.

Benefits of Yoga, a multicomponent exercise, include:

  • Preventing falls.

WHO recommends that people 65 years or older you should aim to do multicomponent exercise at least 3 times a week. If you are new to any exercise, start by doing small amounts and adjust how much you do based on your fitness and strength levels.

Her classes aim to energize and balance by focusing on alignment in poses.
