Join your Zumba expert as they bring the authenticity and tradition of Zumba alive, using core Latin moves and songs, with the motto “no judging, just loving!” Zumba uses the very best of high-energy Spanish and Latin music and is inspired by disciplines such as salsa, flamenco and reggaetón.

Come discover how Zumba can be a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and leave you feeling energised and uplifted after just one class! Aerobic Cardiovascular Exercise

Benefits of aerobic exercise, a cardiovascular activity, include:

  • Improving cardiovascular fitness
  • Improving physical function
  • Preventing functional decline
  • Improving cognitive function
  • Preventing cognitive decline
  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Improving sleep.

WHO recommends that all adults should get 30 to 60 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise at least 5 times a week; or 15 to 30 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise at least 5 times a week. If you are new to any exercise, start by doing small amounts and adjust how much you do based on your fitness and strength levels.

Benefits of dancing, a varied multicomponent and cardiovascular exercise, include:

  • Improving balance
  • Improving strength
  • Improving mobility
  • Improving flexibility
  • Improving endurance
  • Maintaining cognition
  • Improving sleep
  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Improving functional ability
  • Preventing falls.

WHO recommends that people 65 years or older should aim to do multicomponent exercise at least 3 times a week. If you are new to any exercise, start by doing small amounts and adjust how much you do based on your fitness and strength levels.
